Apart from academics, it is essentialfor kids to engage in extracurricular activities. Some kids may find these activities interesting while others may have a hard time adjusting to them, but these activities are essential so that your child can grow in a holistic manner. It is important to expand your child’s growth, learning, and skills apart from academics.

·         Dance

Dancing is an activity which most of the kids love. It has been observed that even introvert students find dancing as a great form of expression. It builds confidence, coordination, and kinaesthetic intelligence in adults as well as children. When children learn to dance, they have lesser chances of making mistakes, and they don’t have any apprehensions.

Swimming is more of a basic life-skill. It helps children in developing personal growth and helps with developing self- confidence.

·         Martial arts

The purpose of martial arts is to protect yourself. Getting your child enrolled for karate or martial arts will imbibe and sense of self-esteem and self-respect. It will get them active and improve their focus. Martial arts also help their body and mind connect and function better. It will help them to get in shape and feel more accomplished.

·         Music

Music is something that every child should get exposure to. Music can be pleasant and therapeutic. The activity can be relaxing as well as help in building their confidence. The musical instruments can also help them in improving their concentrations. Also, learning to read musical notes helps the brain in many ways.

·         Foreign language

It is always great to have knowledge of more than one language as the world is transforming into a global village. Foreign language such as French can help the child in connecting with multiple people. They can also develop their analytical skills and can also grab job opportunities in a foreign country.
